    there was an incident in south carolina were a driver died in his sleeper when a train accident leaked ammonia into the air while he was sleep.

    That NH3 will make you hysterical. When that stuff hits you got to get your clothes off and jump in the wash tub or you could die a painfull death. I often go to places like Calamco and Agrium and they use it to make fertilizers like UAN32 and CAN17. I once saw a few guys running from a railcar they were unloading and I shut off my pump and ran like hell with them not quite knowing what I was running from. Luckily nothing happend and everybody got back to work but it was a pretty wierd thing to have happen on the second load I had ever done.

    Call me stupid, but what does this stuff do to a person and why do you need to take off your clothes???

    Basically a chemical, perpetual burn...through the skin....nasty very nasty!
