just blew a tire on I-40, between kingman and ashfork,, that is the ####tiest road in the usa right now,, even the truckers swerve from lane to lane to avoid the sinkholes.
so i need new tires, i tow a fifth wheel, a gooseneck, and a tt 20' flatbed. rarely not more than 15k lbs total, almost usually a total of 5-10k lbs,, keep the tongue weight at 1000-1300 ish,,,, for gooseneck or fifthwheel, probably have 2000 ish on rear axle.
i have 18" rims so looking at michilin crossclimate or ltx at/2 275/70r18 tires.
any input appreciated. i know folks on here tow a lot more weight than me
any advantages to going to a 19.5 or 20" rim?
favorite tire for towing 2019 f350 SRW

Probably have better luck putting this in the hotshot forum... That's more their game than o/o.

The Defender LTX is widely regarded as one of the best tires one can put onto a pickup. The AT2 version isn’t as good.
Firestone have a series of Transforce tires that have been good for locals I’ve recommended them to. The great thing about them is the solid shoulder tread, which resists turning wear. I’d look at the HT version, for longevity and fuel mileage.
