It's when you load stuff that you blanket wrap the different products with moving blankets.

50 blankets, 50 straps, and decking. So you can use logistics posts, plywood, and double deck, without double stacking. Lot of electronic loads, convention trade shows, require that. Pays real good. Not worth carrying it all though, unless it’s a regular thing.

Uncartoned freight that needs to be padded by moving blankets and/or decked in the trailer. Office fixtures, store display fixtures, medical equipment. Payed by mile plus accessorials. Get paid for everything you do. Lot of work in the trailers at times, others not so much.

I had loads with 300+ blankets plus enough load bars and plywood to have three levels in a 53' van. Office chairs. At lot of work folding and dismantling the decking while the crew unloaded. We had equipment trailers at various places around the country to adjust our equipment for the next load.

Favorite? Tankers hauling fuel to off road construction projects, logging operations, and helicopters.
Second choice is hauling logs in the Sierra Nevada or Coast Range. Off road log hauling is good too but there's not much of that in our area anymore.
West coast only. For me a trip "back east" means going to Reno.
I've only driven OTR once. A friend of mine had some trucks leased to International Transport in the 70s and I spent one very miserable winter bumping around the midwest and east coast. Never again.
