Dropping my load at the Fremont yard tomorrow instead of taking it on into the customer. Then picking up a trailer sitting on the yard, going back to Four Oaks, N.C. for a drop on Thursday.

Dropped my load at Distribution Co-op. The address is listed as 1281 Hwy 155 South. Pulled into the wrong place. Too dark to see anything even building numbers. Backed it out of a narrow driveway. There is a stoplight quarter mile away. West ridge Parkway. Turn there. Found it! Did not get charged a late due to inconclusive directions per my dispatcher. Technically I was 20 minutes late after I thought I was 20 minutes early. No note on the BOL. Or on the dispatch. Exonerated.

Had a 5 hour gap between my drop and my pickup. Killed my miles. Just 248 as I could only make it to the pickle park at the 118 at 5pm. No sense trying another truck stop at 5pm. Headed to Orlando then back to Alachua FL Wal-Mart DC if chep pallets are available. Dispatcher gave me a goal of 2700-3200 miles this week. We'll see!

Nice seeing about 20 brand new trailers at the Fremont yard.

Left the Central GA pickle park at 0430 en route to Southeastern Freight in Orlando. Ran into an accident backup south of Lake City. Transmission bricked. Pulled over turned the key on and off 8 times to reset the computer and started off. Bricked again.. Did the same thing. Did the key thingy again and got off the next exit to call the shop. Never heard of that happening. He said keep on pedaling it I could. Still under warranty. Stopped for shower shampoo shave in Ocala and headed back out. Got to delivery at 1215. Drop and hook headed to.Wal-Mart DC in Alachua. Before I got there, dispatch notifies me that the trailer number changed..So I drop empty and grab the new assigned trailer and the paperwork head to the guard gate. Guard notices an empty seal which I hadn't seen before and I open it and it is EMPTY! My 14 shows 90 min left so I drop trailer, run over to traffic let the them know and let my dispatcher know and hi-tail to the pickle park in Micanopy FL. All that deal and managed 475 miles. Exhausted at 1730. Enough! Tomorrow is another day!

So after I drop this tomorrow morning I will bounce over to Elizabethtown, N.C. and pick up a load going to Conyers, Ga for a live unload Friday. Whenever I get empty in Four Oaks I expect the Elizabethtown load because it requires a tanker endorsement. After I deliver in Georgia Friday I will pick up a loaded trailer off our Dalton drop yard going to Holdrege, Nebraska for a drop on Monday. It’s nice to know what I’m doing for the next 6 days.

You said it. RM! For the shenanigans at Walmart, my dispatcher signed off on $225 layover pay for yesterday for me! Wow! So, anyhow picked up the load of chep pallets and drove them to Resaca GA at the J. Will drop in the morning as I am waiting on an empty to take to Fairburn GA, and drop and hook a load back to Alachua but to Dollar General around the corner from my favorite Wal-Mart DC. Maybe That will get another Chep load Friday with some legs to it for the weekend. My dispatcher said he would try!

Glad to see you got taken care of for the delays you had yesterday. They are very proactive on making things right, if they go South for some reason.

Careful about using shippers and consignee names. Someone's always lurking.

So took care of pet food drop in Alachua, and went around the corner to pick up chep pallets going to our Council Bluffs Iowa yard. Yep, dispatch came through. If I am gonna be away from the house for the weekend, send me the hell away! I'm Jackson GA at the peelot. Didn't want to burn my 70/fighting weekend ATL rush hour traffic. I will leave. Before the butt crack of dawn before the locals rise!

My goal is to make it to the CB yard for a reset, but I think I’m going to be about 45 minutes short. Most likely I will shut down tonight Percival, Iowa. Have a safe ride.
