Every time I've dropped here in Harrisonville there has been 6-8 trailers sitting in their lot, but precisely zero empty's.

Swapped loads with another driver at the Towanda service plaza on the Kansas turnpike yesterday evening. Once dispatch finds out where to send me to pick up an empty, I will then be picking up a preloaded trailer in Emporia to take through the house.

That's a really good week considering you lost a lot of time at that one customer.

Well, things were looking up, but it's looking like another F'd up day now. Had my next 2 loads lined up through Tues. I get to this shipper in Blue Springs wait 45 minutes for shipping girl to return from lunch, to find out the load isn't ready and won't load till Monday!!.. my DM is on lunch, so waiting around to see what they can find me now. Hopefully they'll be something else I can drop in Tulsa tonight to keep the other 2 loads. Back to waiting, I'm getting good at this

Well, after sitting here for an unwanted 2 hour break, turns out there's nothing in the area that'll work for me, either I deadhead to Tulsa to get my next one and they pay FSC on the empty miles or I head up to NE and grab a Arkansas load then head to Tulsa, that would mess up my restart and leaving Monday, so I'm off to Tulsa. I think I've discovered the problem is me, I'm cursed! I'm the kiss of death for freight! West Texas is probably booming now that I'm gone!

Well, the old girl finally got a bath. And with 490k on her, probably the last one this Driver will be giving her. IMG_1359.jpeg

So I’m still a bit out of sync after the Dealership visit and Road Rescue.

Ran my 70 down to the last 90 minutes and shut down for a 34 in Lincoln since my next load was on its way. But I guess I can’t deliver it until Monday morning so I’ll run it to get on-site or close on Saturday night, grab another 34 on Sunday, then drop Monday so that I have enough clock to run through next week to get back for my RDO in Illinois next weekend. It’s either take a 34 now after two days of driving or end up taking one next Thursday before driving one day to get back.

    Stay Safe!!!

Looks like the driver with my load in Tulsa will be there around 18:00, and I oughta roll in there around 18:15! At least something worked out right. If I leave the house Monday am like I'd planned I won't make it to MN by 15:00 Tuesday when that reciever closes, they'd split it off in CB or Sioux City no problem, but my greedy ### wants those miles before cutoff, sooo.. I'm thinking I'll leave Sunday morning when my restart is up, head to east TX, drop and go get the MN load picked up, might just have enough time to stop back by the house for the night Sunday then I can leave Monday morning and deliver that MN load Tuesday..... hoping for a nice smooth week next week Fingers crossed
