    Home time is almost over, had an amazing mini vacation near Charleston, stayed at a condo right on the beach in Isle of Palms. Snowing and sleeting this morning at the house.

    I will leave out in the morning and go down to Sumter and pick up a preloaded trailer going to Broken Bow, Nebraska. I will swing through Fremont and get a service done and get my new seat installed. I ordered it about 5 weeks ago, and it finally came in last week.

    Yes, actually back to back weekends I have been off. Freight seemed to be a tad slow this weekend' weekend's so home I am. Headed out early tomorrow to drop my flooring in Winston Salem and then over to Bennettsville SC for more flooring going to Dalton GA. I expect to be out this weekend as freight should be heaviest just before Christmas. But, according to dispatch, should stay in SE.

    Left my home truckstop at 4am and got to my delivery in Winston Salem now known as Winter Wonderland at 0830. Dark, closed up and snowed in. Dispatch called and no answer. After an hour, headed to the pickle park on I 85/40 where I have been and will be all night long. $225 layover pay again. Would have never got the ok to stay home and its Christmas time. The bills don't get paid from the couch! Don't know if they will show tomorrow, either. But dispatch will call them before I start my clock or my truck!

    No show no go. Seems like I have been carrying this load for a week. Dispatch is having me drop this Mohawk load at our drop yard in Dalton. Then head to Fairburn GA for dog food going to Alachua FL..Then, probably a pallet load back.to one of the drop yards. Then, I will bet I get that Mohawk load back to Winston Salem again. Stay tuned.

    After I swing through the Fremont to get my new seat installed and a trailer serviced, I will drop this trailer in Broken Bow and pick up a loaded trailer going to Redlands, California for Friday afternoon.

    Yep. And I bet it boomerang back to me when I complete my Florida run. If it does, it does and I will do it again! As long as they pay me, no reason not to do it!
