Picking up a trailer here in Shelby and the trailer is way overdue on its service. Have to swing by Fremont on my way to Norfolk. Eric said he would get it in as quick as he could. This isn’t shaping up to be a very good week mileage wise.

I’m no genius but I don’t think you’re supposed to see the ground when you’re in the trailer IMG_2687.jpeg

It’s been one hell of a week so far. Off Monday. Dealt with flats Tuesday morning, busted my ### up to CB to get my truck serviced that evening.

Today, I grabbed a trailer from Shelby that I had to take to Fremont to get serviced, 3 hours gone. Drove to a Menards store in Norfolk, got unloaded and when I stopped to blow it out, I found the aforementioned damage. Made the relevant phone calls, dropped it in Fremont, and grabbed a different empty. Drove over to Blair and finally got under my trailer going to Arkansas. Thankfully a local driver loaded this so I could just grab it and go. Although with it already being past 8 pm and with a slight headache, I’ll probably just call it a day in Council Bluffs. I have the time to make it to KC but I’m not sure I have the mental awareness left to drive another 3 or so hours.

Throughout all of this, everyone I’ve had to talk to at the company have been more than happy to help. I never once felt like I was burdening them by having a hectic day, and stress levels are a lot lower as a result. Hopefully the rest of the week and weekend goes better

I’ve also elected to stay out over the weekend in order to make up for lost production. It also may or may not have to do with trying to find an excuse to not go to a cousins wedding…

Is that with your trailer tandems all the way back. Or you just haven't adjusted them yet.

It's with the tandems slid forward to Tennessee bridge law.
