Nice meeting you as well. I met Jake when I worked at Freightliner and he's a good dude. Might have him paint my old truck this winter, he does decent work from what I've seen.

i feel like these new Freightliners have less room when i’m driving it. It’s gotten to the point where i have to stop every couple hours just to get out and stretch because my legs start hurting. My Peterbilt definitely had more leg room than this thing does
M22 rockcrusher and YardMule89 Thank this. -
Well, the week started with a 7 hour delay on an unbalance load out of Aurora and that delay haunted me all week but Aurora to Victorville to LA to DFW to KCMO and slid into ACT with 5 minutes on my 70 and bumping every clock.
It was nice to stretch my legs.YardMule89, DonRobbie, cdavis188 and 4 others Thank this. -
i had to slide the tandems all the way forward just to get legal with full fuel. This isn’t the first time Aurora has loaded a trailer questionably
YardMule89, M22 rockcrusher and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -
Then, my return load to DFW of porcelain thrones was also nose heavy with plenty of room to stretch it out inside the trailer. But it was legal so no problem but seems I’ve been grabbing a number of nose heavy loads.YardMule89 Thanks this. -
djsinco, YardMule89 and Knucklehead Thank this.

First time going to Victorville. Boy that place is a mixed bag of development. Brand new commercial DC with old AFB Living Quarters just falling apart. Fun place for kids to party I’m sure.
And I wonder what all the planes on the run way are doing? Are they all new waiting for delivery?YardMule89, DonRobbie, cdavis188 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Picked up my van load today from a packaging company in Clarksville TN. From the last two pallets I’m hauling disposable cups for Burger King. I’m sure there’s more stuff in there than this. But only 22k lbs. Wasn’t a horrible broker facility. Google reviews show 5-14hr load times. Looking at the 3 that signed in before me from midnight to 9:30a (I arrived at 10:20a) load times were averaging 3hrs for today.
I get my paperwork right at 2pm, one of the trucks to left that arrived shortly after me was being loaded simultaneously as me. The truck to my right that arrived shortly after lefty was getting no attention. I can see how it could take all day if they only have a loader or two if you showed up further down the line.
But either way. Onward and upward. Hopefully get back to Fremont Tuesday morning for a flat.MidWest_MacDaddy, wulfman75 and cdavis188 Thank this.
