Instead of the cab curtains buy a set of the reflective sunshades cut to fit the cab windows. Also try to avoid parking facing south or west. If you can park off by yourself that helps too because you’re not surrounded by residual heat from other trucks.

Reflective screens definately work.
I now use the expensive quilted fabric ones & were more than worth the expense.
For economy, cut to form insulation board from Home Depot/Lowe's. Tape up edges to keep from flaking. Works awsome.

I can vouch for the window shades working. I had a set for my Holland trucks and they kept it nice and cool in the summer and toasty warm in the winter.
