Got the ok to move to MWR as long as I park a car at the ACT yard.
Tyson said Matt would be my new dispatcher. I don't believe I've ever spoken to him before save for maybe a message or two over Transflo a long time ago. How is he?

I didn’t have any issues with him, I rarely spoke to him. I just sent him my ETA’s and he kept me moving.
Friend, IH9300SBA, Knucklehead and 3 others Thank this. -
Matt’s great! He’ll call me to set up weekend schedules, but other than that, it’s all TRANSFLO and go!Friend, IH9300SBA, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this.

In fcc’s website… I would imagine that would be a headache -

Some guys on that account love it, too much East Coast I95 corridor for my liking (ran the East coast for 7 years when I lived in Virginia). Those guys mainly run Pa, Md, WVa, Va. and some NC

That would drive me insane running that corridor repeatedlyGoody3635, IH9300SBA, Knucklehead and 5 others Thank this.

I did it once to help cover a shortage in drivers there. Not sure if they were hiring then or just vacations overlapping. Nice folks to work with out there and they basically gave me the longer out n back runs. I’d do it again to help out, if asked, but don’t think I’d sign up for full time out there. Maybe Lincoln at some point before hanging up the keys.Friend, IH9300SBA and Knucklehead Thank this.

So someone educate me.
I occasionally see the empty containers of DEF setting at the Fuel Islands. I never understood why someone would buy a retail container of DEF when it’s available at the pump per gallon. Seems a waste of money paying the higher price and waste of plastic for the container.
I saw a guy walking out of a Maverik today with a container of Retail DEF so u thought I’d ask him why… but he didn’t speak English so I wasted our time asking… lol
so, why??? What piece of the puzzle am I missing? Do pickup trucks not have a tank that can be filled at the pump and require the plastic containers or something???
Thanks.Last edited: Aug 8, 2025

Supposedly higher quality DEF is what I’ve heard. Some people swear that if they get it bulk at the pump they get DEF quality fault codes.Friend, IH9300SBA, Knucklehead and 4 others Thank this.
