As mentioned earlier, I met @Pigdude yesterday as we got loaded at the same place in KCMO. We stood around and chatted for awhile before he eventually got finished loaded and left. It was good to put a face to a forum name. I hope we catch up with each other soon.
I also caught up with @runningman0661 this morning in the CB driver's lounge when I went to throw away a leaking bottle. We chatted for a bit before I had to get my ### is gear to take this load to Hannibal
Matt has me set up for the weekend. After I drop this in Hannibal, I'm to swing down to RB in St. Peters for a load to Sanger, TX. I'll be dragging my feet down there though as it can't drop until Sunday morning at the earliest (Walmart and their stupid rules)
Then I'll drive to Lancaster for a preloaded trailer to Clayton. At least I'll be through the metroplex on a Sunday morning

Taking a load from Richmond Indiana to Olathe Kansas. It wound up being a live load instead of a preload. Had to stretch it out way longer than I would prefer to get the axles right.
After that I am being sent through the house on the way to a Monday delivery in Seymour, Indiana. DM said they are very light on freight this weekend. So I guess I will have a day at the house 2 days after leaving the house.Friend and Knucklehead Thank this. -
I've found out that trailers seem to ride better the further back the tandems areFriend and kemosabi49 Thank this.

Ever pick up at Ft Dodge? A few of the loads I have dragged out of there were only legal in one specific hole in the tandems, and one one load, I had to move the 5th wheel as well to get it right.MidWest_MacDaddy, Goody3635 and Knucklehead Thank this.

@cdavis188 you jinxed yourself talking about hating the metroplex.

think there might be more truth to that than you realize. Picked up my load to Sanger, got 50 miles down I-44, and Amber called me and told me to turn around because they put product on this trailer that they shouldn't have. Turning around in Sullivan and heading back to that direction. Kinda threw a monkey wrench in my plans but I guess #### happensFriend, wulfman75 and Knucklehead Thank this.

I feel that. Part of that is stupid pickup and delivery appointment times. Delivering at 2pm and not picking up until the next day, etc. I have issues with poor planning, especially when I'm not getting 3000 miles a week.Friend, DonRobbie, JohnBoy and 1 other person Thank this.

Pulled into the Joplin 44. I still have time on my clock but I'll be up against my 14 shortly and I'm in pretty bad need of a shower, and the earlier fiasco certainly didn't help. They ended up having to basically unload my whole trailer just to get whatever they needed off of course so it wasn't just a quick 15 minutes. I'll see how much time I have left when I get back out to my truck and make a call then
I told my roommate that I left the St. Louis area and drove 2.5 hours and 150 miles to the St. Louis area. He thought it was funnyFriend, hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and 1 other person Thank this. -
Spent a bit of time cleaning about 5 pounds of dog food out of the trailer I picked up then a bit more time patching a hole in the interior but that was kind of a waste of time since they decided to red tag it until Caravan can look at it Monday. I still feel better having it patched so if it gets swiped it has some protection so maybe not a total waste of time.
Getting a pair of tires put on the trailer I picked up (one was bad, the other is being changed to match depth).
