FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

I mostly ignore the shift clock, I just note what time I start, and try to be parked before 14 hours later. Most days, I burn my drive time before my 14 is up. The other clocks seem to at least act right.

 

Well I just got sent to the heart of this storm on the Arkansas Missouri border rip

off topic but someone who's collected coins and silver since I was a kid this is insane I might cash out and buy a truck LOL

 

Heading to Baltimore.

Stopped yesterday late afternoon to have two minor issues fixed… replace the seatbelt was one… it was hanging up a lot and once I didn’t think I was going to be wearing a seatbelt for that day… anyway, it had to be ordered and couldn’t happen until morning. Ugh… ok, well maybe we can just skip it as I was wanting to get as far as possible before the storm hits…

Nope… because it was a seatbelt issue, it’s a safety issue… and had to be replaced… lol

Don’t get me wrong… I DO appreciate a company that has a safety first mindset… but I really should have skipped the seatbelt and just had the other issue fixed… lol

got almost have way there… I’m hoping tomorrow isn’t too bad and I can clock a solid 10-11 so I can shut down and roll in Monday morning… but I have time to slow roll it over two days if needed…

or if possible… hearing 10-14 inches ahead of me… yuck.

 

Funny Family Story… for one of mom’s milestone birthdays, (30th?) my dad saved up a bunch of “Silver Certificates” (Bills backed by silver I guess vs the newer “full faith and credit” ones) and gave them to her… not sure how long he saved them up… mom didn’t notice they were not regular bills and deposited them… lol

She collected coins so not sure why she didn’t notice it… she just thought he gave her $30 for her birthday… lol … oops.
