It’s good to see our thread living again!

Isaac gave me a good scare at first, but things seem to be working nicely now.

I saw we were demoing a Pioneer last time I was in Fremont. My only wish now is for white Macks. These black ones only stay clean to the truck wash exit. lol.

I don't begrudge you for doing well not at all. I have been here 16 months not that long I know. The company is great, I probably need to be a little less passive. I have a no wake policy. In fairness to FCC and my awesome driver manager. When I said I wanted to run hard for awhile he got me miles 3 weeks in a row. 3200, 2700, 2687 back to back and home on the weekends.

It took me 2 days to fill my def tank. I timed out after probably 20 to 25 minutes getting 17 gallons on Wednesday and then another 7 gallons on Thursday after a 689 mile turn. I was there Thursday morning when they were working on it. The old gun looked like someone had anger issues and stomped or slammed it a couple 10 times.

The nozzle they had on there was recently replaced also but the nozzle was too large for using on def so it didn't fit our tanks on the new cascadias I complained about it a few days ago that it didn't fit and was junk because it also kept clicking off every second and you had to hold it just right just to fuel def about 20 minutes. It's good that they finally fixed it.

Just my 2 cents about miles, I think a lot depends on where you live and when you want to be home. When I was running for FCC my miles were super consistent on what I’d call my normal weeks, 3100-3400 unless something really went wonky. Every few weeks I’d take 2-3 days off just to get a break from the truck or if I had something to do at home, but most of the time I’d leave out Monday morning and I was usually home around lunch on Saturday.

The catch was I live right in the middle between Crete and Aurora, 40 minutes or so from two large customers. I ran Aurora to Clayton a lot. Richmond back to Bellevue a lot. Wabash back to Hastings a lot. Jefferson back to Crete a lot. I was planned out days in advance. And most of the time I knew where I’d be sleeping a day or two ahead of time. I liked the predictability of what I was doing when I was there.

I would imagine the closer you live to a drop yard or major customer the easier your life would be working at FCC.

    Lonesome and rokue Thank this.

I couldn't agree more. If you live in Nebraska or Houston,Tx your going to kill it. I wish I did.
