Whenever I stop in York, it's at the little truckstop next to the Petro. That's one of my favorites.Bud A. Thanks this.

Isn't it great to be paid for all of the hard work that you do? It's so refreshing.hotrod1653, mitrucker, RebelChick and 1 other person Thank this.

#1 - Length of hood doesn't tell you what's underneath.
#2 - What trailer are they pulling, very possible to be much heavier than you are. We were loading up to 105k# on 5 axles last month on a KDOT road project. We were being paid by the ton btw. -
It was a reefer
-
Back in 2016 I pulled reefer to help a friend out for a month when he was short trucks. They had their own little cross dock facility. We’d run around and pick up various LTL dairy shipments, head back to their cross dock, combine everything into two or three big loads, and leave out Saturday night and head for the northeast. Made enough hauling 60k plus that after spending Monday and some of Tuesday peddling stops off we’d just head back to the Midwest empty to do it again. The money was great, 7 to 10 drops in the northeast wasn’t so great.
There was also a guy from MN who would go load at a butter plant. He’d take the first load back to his shop. Then he’d take a different trailer back and load another load of butter. Back at his shop they’d double stack it and he’d go to NY every week with about 80k of butter in his trailer.IH9300SBA, hotrod1653, Lonesome and 6 others Thank this. -

You ask this every year. And you live in, and are surrounded by, agricultural heavy states where 85,500 is legal. And legal is a suggestion. -
Interesting article dropped today on how Flock also tracks pedestrians and is adding cameras as fast as it can. Also mentioned is some resistance to the idea.
Utterly Flocked: "We-Don't-Track-People"-Firm Deploys Nationwide Network Of Warrantless Pedestrian-Tracking Cameras <!-- --> | ZeroHedge -
Flock cameras also can be used to track/catch violations so just be paying attention to the road these cameras will everywhere or already are everywhere.
hope not dumb twucker, drvrtech77 and Bud A. Thank this. -
I don't know if I said it here but I bought an old Chevy pickup a few weeks ago
I got some junkyard scores from yesterday. New taillight assembly, 4 center caps, and a pair of mirrors off another Chevy truck. This thing is so easy to work on unlike the new stuff. Taillight is held in by two philips head screws. Mirrors are held on by 3 10mm nuts.hope not dumb twucker, Woobie, wulfman75 and 4 others Thank this.
