FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

When I was at Shaffer I generally liked the ProStars I drove, with only two exceptions, the excessively sloppy shifter and the randomly exploding engine option. Otherwise I found them to be reasonably roomy and comfortable. I've not driven an LT, but I imagine they're not all that different.

 

The only thing I didn't like about them (besides the Maxxfarce engine) was the step for the upper bunk that stuck out in front of the hanging closet that you would forget about and bang your shin on when you headed for bed in the dark

 

Completed my Kawasaki load from rapid city today. Picked up another one to go home with that's due in goodlettsville on Wednesday. And then vacation from there.

If you ever take a break in Menomonie (I assume you were in Wisconsin) resist the urge to eat at that Mexican Joint next to the Kwik Trip. That #### was HORRIBLE.

 

If you don’t want a shower the Kwik Trip right in town is way better. A lot of food options within walking distance. Motel next door if you’re taking a 34.

 

The Google reviews and pictures make it look great.
If you're ever in Dickson, TN, the Mexican place north of the Pilot serves great enchiladas. It's 4 miles north so you'll have to get a Lyft.

 

At face value, yes. Me and my wife concluded that those reviews are fugazi. I left a review of my own. If it had JUST been bad, I would have just been mad. The lady there acted like that slop was gourmet stuff. The salsa was bubbling with fermentation, and the cheese was moldy.
