FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

My adventure here ends today. The truck is clean, the equipment is returned, and I’m waiting for my ride to the house. Not because FCC did anything wrong, they’ve been great! It’s just come to the point that family needs me at home, and I’m going back to ag exempt. I’ll still hang out here if nobody minds, just to keep up with things.

My Mack is open at CB, if anybody wants one.

Will drop in Valley sometime Monday afternoon/evening then bop over to the yard for a 34

I seem to be kept mainly on I-80 and north of there with only the occasional Indiana load, which i have no problems with. When I parked my #### in KCMO I was constantly running I-70 which was suboptimal

The Fremont yard was weirdly a beehive of activity this morning. Drivers all over dropping and/or picking up trailers, getting DEF, etc. Usually there isn't a #### thing going on up here at 9 am on a Sunday. It was nice speaking with Amber again though

 

Amber is the most patient, thoughtful, helpful person I have met in this business!!

Was pulling around to the fuel island at the Kwik Trip I stayed at before I drop in Menomonie and spied a certain forum users truck

 

Oh to be young and naive. I'm 3 days older now, and I've learned to never assume. I also assumed that when I placed a tag in the flap of the electric box on the nose of my trailer stating "this trailer will be leaving Fremont at 0715 Monday" that the shop wouldn't take it first thing Monday morning. And they did. So I finally left around 0740.

Currently sitting at a dock in Lincoln waiting to be unloaded. Next move will be to grab an empty flat from the drop yard and head to York for a Riverside load.

 

Did a upgrade to my speakers because the factory ones in the international sound bad.
