Anybody need some tires? lol Screenshot_20260718_080909_Gallery.jpg

Had a Morrison, TN to Chicagoland load after the hog farm. Amazingly my trailer wasn't disgusting or gag inducing after unload, unlike the FCC driver ahead of me. On a load now to North Platte that I can't drop until tomorrow because of Walmarts BS policies. Preplanned on a Holdrege to Plainfield, IN load. Going to take a 34 in Council Bluffs and drop that Tuesday evening. I don't necessarily need one but my truck is due for service and the drivers seat sprung an air leak, and also because I want to avoid what happened last time when I winded up being home 3 days early

When did they start shrink wrapping tires? Use to have to bounce each one off the trailer. Then again its been years since I've done a tire load.

Years ago, I had a similar tire load. Used semi tires stacked, not wrapped, going to Goodyear in Akron. When I got there, dispatcher told me it's "driver assist", which didn't make me happy. Guy on the dock said the same thing, but then handed me a bucket of rubber lubricant, and a brush. My "assist", was to coat the lift truck forks with lubricant, every time he entered the trailer. He then scooped up a stack, and drove off with them.

Made the mistake of stopping at the Super Sam Walton truck stop in Lexington today while going across Nebraska.

It was an extra crunchy bowl of cluster flakes
