Most of the time, you can head on out. It should take care of it en route. It's easier on the DPF also, since it runs a bit cooler than during a parked regen.

 

I haven't updated my travel log because no one wants to see almost 3 weeks of going between KCMO and Indiana/Ohio and back. I haven't touched I-70 between Blue Springs and Wentzville once. There's so much construction going on that the time difference between taking that and 36/72 is a wash. Those construction zones are very dangerous too. Extremely narrow lanes, others who blatantly disregard workzone speed limits (while workers are on the jobsite), absolutely no enforcement, etc.. I took I-70 in MO precisely once about a month ago and based on my experience of almost being sent into a jersey barrier or the ditch multiple times, I flat out refuse to take it again until that construction is finished unless I absolutely have no other choice. I will take the mileage penalty any day over potentially getting into a major accident because other people are idiots

 

Was told to drop my empty back at Clayton and swing over to a Kenworth dealership about 20 miles away to grab another trailer. Repowering a load from an owner operator who broke down

 

I just saw an FCC driver with a whole ### birdcage in her passengers seat while waiting in the check out line

 

Pulled back into the yard a couple hours ago. Cleaned up my truck, took a shower, loaded up the 'yota and I'm headed home for 6 days.
