FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Made my delivery yesterday morning in Riverside.

Went to Costa Mesa and picked up my preplanned load of gearboxes going to Aurora CO. Delivering tomorrow morning. Don't know what lies beyond delivery yet.

 

Delivered in Aurora CO this morning. Next duties are to deadhead back to York NE for another fence load. This one going to Great Falls MT

I've deadheaded that far before. Delivered in the Denver area one time and they had nothing in the area so they deadheaded me back into Nebraska. Thankfully we get paid our full mileage rate regardless if the deadhead is 4 miles or 400 miles.

 

That's the nature of flatbedding.

I’ll assume they have such things built into their rate.

 

Your rate going in to Denver has always had to cover a large bounce out unless you have contract stuff locked in.
