FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Stopped at the Love’s in Richmond, IN for a 34. Wish I could've delivered this load but I don't have quite enough time to do so. Some other driver will grab my load at some point. I met my 3,000 mile/week goal though so it's no big deal. 3,000 miles is about $1400 in take home pay for me.

 

nothing like getting rudely woken up at 12:30 am because no one bothered to mention when the driver picking up this load was supposed to be here

 

Pick up in Findlay, OH tomorrow going to Topeka for as soon as I can get it there

 

Delivered the load of tile to Omaha this morning. They got me out PDQ. Next load, more substation parts from York NE, this time going to Giddings TX for Friday morning.

 

Independent contractors are getting a $0.02 raise across the board not much but it's something. The section seems to be fairly dead lately. I have ran 30k miles in my truck so far and it's pretty good though I think the bcm is probably going to be needing a replacement eventually it seems to be glitching occasionally other than that it's pretty good running plenty of power and fuel economy.

 

This place does it how it should be done. In and out in 20 minutes. Took longer to check in and out than it did to get loaded. All of 6600 lbs of plastic totes. I wonder how much of that weight are just the pallets.

 

Delivered substation parts this morning in Giddings TX. From there went to San Saba TX for a load of stone that I'm dropping in Lincoln, I will grab an empty from there and go back to York for more substation parts going right back to the same site in Giddings for Tuesday morning. Rumored preplan from there is Florence TX to Roca NE

 

Diesel is now well over $6/gallon at most truck stops and I still see trucks driving at 70+ mph. Unreal.
