I have not had any problems at that Topeka HD. Last Thursday I got there before 9am, side by side d/h, gone in 20 minutes.

After I drop in Topeka tomorrow, I will pick up a preloaded trailer in Lawrence, Kansas going to Fremont. Then I will grab another preloaded trailer in Omaha going out to the land of 100+ nights of anarchy... Portland for Monday morning. I wonder if I can put in for hazard duty pay?

Looking at google earth the store (Fred Myers) is going to be a PITA. It’s in some old residential area with the store on a narrow street and parking garage underneath the store. I will definitely be calling the POC Friday to get the 411 on where I should park to get unloaded.

Combat pay needed for sure. I just stay Midwest regional and try like hell to stay away from Chicago

My recruiter called today and said they may not have a manual for me next week after orientation. Wanted to know if I would take an automatic temporarily if need be. I guess that's a good thing if FCC doesn't have a whole bunch of extra trucks sitting around. That means people must not be quitting too often!

    MidWest_MacDaddy and Crusader66 Thank this.

We have a very low turnover rate here. If they say you will only have to be in that truck temporarily, you can take it to the bank. These folks are straight shooters.

Vic Firth, BigR, Crusader66 and 2 others Thank this.

You must be going to a different one than I was at. You wouldn't happen to be going to Southeast Hwy 212?

It was fairly easy in and out. No staging area or parking though. Gotta show up like 15 mins before your appt.

    Crusader66 Thanks this.

Love when I’m heading to CB and find myself in the express lanes instead of the local lanes... I don’t think I want to try to jump that Jersey Barrier in a Fully Loaded KW.... lol
