Just because you guys do it, doesn't mean all places do. I have seen yard drivers drag a trailer around on a lot with the brakes stuck, and hit curb, smash the corners of a trailer and shrug it off, and run the rear corner of a trailer down most of the side of another trailer. And I have NEVER seen a yard driver do a pre trip. They very rarely even touch the ground most places. Most slam into the trailer, hook up the red airline, jack it to the sky and go. I have a seen a lot smack the fifth wheel release and jerk out from under the trailer before the feet even touch the ground, or better yet lower the trailer while still moving so now you are stuck trying to raise or lower a 45000 lb load that sitting on a sideloaded landing gear.

Well just got my trailer dropped in the shop at Sapp Bros . the tech thinks he can fix the brackets that where damaged by welding them . Cross my fingers
