Yup... I like his sense of humor... I responded with I could go to Walmart and get an electric blanket and a drop cord... then added that I should get a drop cord with multi plug on one end so I can plug in a couple hair dryers to defrost the windshield... then asked if I could submit the expenses for reimbursement... lol

he said no... they were creature comforts and as such they are a driver expense.

made this chilly day a bit more fun.

 

Ya, I rarely set the brakes on the trailer in winter but today it was the truck brakes that had me wondering it they would ever break loose or not... was a bit concerned I might do a bit of damage to something getting them loose.

Thank you. I sure will. I've been a owner operator for the last 12 years, figured I let someone else pay for the fuel and maintenance bills for a change. From what I've seen and read not only recently but over the years FCC seems to take care of it's drivers.
