If that's the case....please explain to me why it has taken over 3 years (so far) to finish US169 North of Chanute...

Going pretty good so far brother , the 1st week wasn't quite as good as I planned But the 1st 2 days really sucked so I already knew that was going to sabotage it from the get go. However, just to put things in perspective a " bad "week here was 3,151 total miles lol. Been managing the fuel pretty well and Keeping an eye on my bottom line. Already have a pretty good Head Start on next week's miles Staying out till Saturday again, be doing that for a few weeks to build-up the maintenance fund quickly and Take advantage of not having a payment the 1st couple of weeks and stick some cash back. Be dropping a load off for you at the KC yard early this AM... All in all so far things are just as I had expected no real changes on the operational side. Fcc As usual has stood by everything they said. I feel really good about this decision

That’s great dude I’m glad things are goin good! That’s funny you mention miles I was helping a road driver find an empty yesterday and whilst walking the yard with him he was saying he had one of his highest mileage weeks last week, I thought he said he was pushing like 3300 miles. That’s decent. My regular Shaggin’ Wagon is still at Freightliner waiting on parts, so I’m in this KW loaner road truck #1437. If you see me around please say hi!

Yup, miles Typically aren't an issue here if you want them. Average right at 3000 per week for Over a year and a 1/2 as a company driver. That included the bad Winter In 21 when everything was slow. I think I've had 3 or 4 weeks over 4000. Best one I remember was 4450 I think. Pretty good gig for home every week lol .... Sounds good brother , I'll keep an eye out for you. I was out of there by about 4:30 this morning, nobody stirring then lol I am in #4143 if you ever see me around. That is really taking some getting used to. I kept writing down the wrong tractor number on my paperwork last week lol

We got 7 years of cushion, 10-3=7.....you can't compare KS roadways to OK's....it ain't even close. The only thing nice on OK roadways is their TajMahal scale houses.

That’s awesome man. I think I’m gonna try to switch over to SW regional after summer. I got a pretty good gig going now as far as scheduling for my daughter being off school, her mom had some things come up. But that’ll all be squared away by then. Driving all day in the city is about to drive me up the wall. We busy tho. I did 515 miles today and had 2 minutes left on my 14 when I parked it.

I know what you mean I just now got used to writing this loaner truck # down. So any day now my daycab will be ready and I’ll have to rememorize that. Glad you’re doin good man!

OK roads are far from perfect but they are FAR from the worst. Also, in roughly the same time frame as KS rebuilding 169 around Chanute, I-244 was rebuilt from downtown to the airport with three major bridge replacements, and I-44 was widened from from 4 to 6 lanes, during which process, a pretty good sized hill was cut to make room. (20 -30 feet deep by about 3 miles, plus the buildings that were sitting on top of that land)
