As the years go by and new generations of truckers come to take over the industry and continue the culture. Newer trucks are coming out and the lifecycle of fleets are starting to come to an end. I am curious what would be a fantastic feature that any truck manufacturer can give its drivers in the near future that will help the efforts for future generations?

  The ability to post/read/stay on social media -- without having to stop the truck.

I dont think the trucks can go much further. They're pretty refined as they are now.
Trailers?...lets figure out a way to steer the trailer axles that does not need a special hitch truck. The US military has a trailer steering system that is self contained on the trailer. When the tractor backs under the trailer and the king pin clips the jaws, a wedge follows it into the tapered opening of the fifth wheel. Now as the tractor turns, that wedge in the tapered wings of the fifth wheel rotates a mechanism that steers the trailer wheels. I think it's on an Abrams retriever.
