It's pretty bad that the truck maintained its lane better with the driver chasing it on foot than with the driver in the drivers seat.
FlaSwampRat, drvrtech77 and mjd4277 Thank this. -

Is that why those guys wear those short shorts? Wow he was really moving!!!

Did the driver catch the truck? If not what stopped the truck? Or was that the Fed Ex driver standing by the red truck with the yellow flashing light. There's been a few nights I got out of the bunk to check the red & yellow, always out.

Yeah that was him standing by the red truck. It got moving too fast for him by that point, would be dangerous as hell trying to jump in once it's at your sprinting speed (not that I wouldn't try).
Had this happen to me once, I hopped in the cab and popped in the trailer brake to start airing a trailer I was picking up not realizing I never set my tractor brake. Soon as that landing gear came off the ground it started rolling. I tried spinning the handle back but it was on a pretty good hill so it wasn't stopping. Sprinted over jumped in the door using my hands on the brakes and saved it.
I changed my trailer hooking up routine so that would never happen again. -

I think I would have been taking off that FedEx shirt and name badge, leave them in the street and then going to the nearest McDonald's to fill out an application.
drvrtech77 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
