Did they include the flip-flops, shorts and basketball jersey to go with the white Volvo? :D

It’s also required that you eat lunch in the fuel island, not in front, not behind, AT the fuel pump :)

Up in my part of the world you can also add to never use an actual restroom. You do your business outdoors, even at the fuel island. Bathrooms are only for foot washing.

Is that why I have streaks on my windshield when I use the squeegee out of the bucket?

My week ended at 0600 this morning in Humboldt. Ran Linehaul over night all week. It actually wasn’t bad. I only had to build and breakdown 2 sets, everything else was a 53’.

My night started at 9:30pm on the dot every night in Humboldt. Trailer was loaded and dispatched on time. Ran 2 round trips to Memphis and back all week. Came through the Humboldt gate every morning at 0530. Even Memphis was on the same page. 380 total miles each night. So now I’m off until tomorrow night.

Update on the deer strike, damage and assorted other issues with my KW. I’m keeping this ‘24 Volvo 860. The deer strike did quite a bit of damage to the tune of $19,000 dollars worth. My contractor bought 2 of these KW’s during the pandemic when the chip issue was going on. Apparently these 2 KW’s have been nothing but a nightmare since he’s got them. The cost of fixing them and maintaining them is ridiculous. So, he’s been actively looking to sell them. Apparently he’s got a buyer for both of them. Including mine when it gets out of the shop next month. I happen to mention to Tom that I wouldn’t mind keeping this one. It’s only got 77K on the clock, spotless inside and out and never had a smoker in it. He’s got a total of 5 new ones that were delivered the last 3 weeks. Got the word yesterday to enjoy the truck. It’s mine. I told my wife yesterday, that after 42 years at this, and only my second deer strike in that time, I get a brand new ‘24 Volvo after killing Bambi and redesigning a KW front end while pushing the radiator into the fan. Not bad. lol.
