The Toyata Prius is a preferred target of catalytic converter thieves due to its higher yield.

 

Apparently theives target the prious because they can get more $$ when scrapping the catalytic converter.

 

And out of luck!

 

Small car with 12,000 lbs of lithium batteries.

 

And I just looked it up to see for sure... 114 lbs. Not nearly as heavy as I thought.

 

Yeah the article said the car was jacked so I guess he was at the tailpipe/muffler area and it just hit him square on his face.

Thinking it won’t be an open casket funeral.

 

If it didn’t hit him in the face it more than certainly crushed his rib cage.
