Hey everyone,
It seems that since ELD has been mandated that there has been less and less "free" parking available at truck stops/fuel stations
And I'm just looking to get some input from other drivers.
Do you find it hard to find parking?
if required do you pay for parking? and does the company you work with reimburse you for these charges?
Thanks
Fee's for Truck parking...who pays/who doesn't?

Yes after 9PM till 3-4 AM

Last year paid 68$ not so much , but I am probably only 1 who thankful truck stops for that idea, cause I can always can count to find place to park
and does the company you work with reimburse you for these charges?
No, exeption if I need to park in LA, Chicago and NYC areas.TransportNService Thanks this. -
I do it when I know I’m going to run out of hours in an area that has little or no parking! After 15 years ; I can predict if it’s going to be a struggle or not... Last year I spent about 150$ on paid parking... but I don’t regret a dime of it!

My company can be hit or miss with the reimbursement.. Lol! It depends on who I’m whining about it too... lol

Company I work for reimburses any/all paid parking we deem necessary, no questions asked. Our fleet runs on appointment times that are all over the clock, and runs all 48 dealing with all the traffic and weather and slow docks that can be encountered. So having to shut down well after dark in busy truck stops is a given. Reserved parking is worth every penny when/where you need it.
