Reddaway is having a "driver hiring event" that im thinking about going to, and was wondering if you could tell me anything about them, (the trucks, pay, is there any overtime (P&D), is Line-haul better or worse there, etc)
what size trailers do they use for P&D? (27' pups with lift-gates i hope lol) are they union?

I am still up here north of Chicago working this gig Pay is exceptional but can't help gawking at the trucks coming in and out wishing I was in one. Sick and I know it compared to what I am making but it's in my blood.

Some of Reddaway is union... Some isn't. Most of their trucks in the smaller terminals are hand-me-downs from the larger ones. We run 2005 Internationals. Everything is goverened at 63. Standard company size trailers are 28/29 and 48 foot trailers and liftgates. We do have 53 ft trailers and some flatbeds in our inventory (but I've never seen them on the road before). Linedriver pay is better than P&D pay in my opinion. But more likely than not, you will run more unfavourable hours (depending how you look at working nights).
As for overtime? Not a chance in hell.Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this. -
