Oh Man! You must live in a low rent district. Or new to the trucking industry. Due the math, FFE only pays .29cpm 1st year.

To All FFE drivers: If you are sick of no miles, Rude dispatchers, Payroll problems, Get the balls and leave the company like I did. Go with PTL if you want miles, Friendly dispatchers etc.

Today's Trucking is so over regulated by the government now. The most miles a driver can drive is about 3500 miles within a 70 hour week with a 62 mph truck. Then the driver has to do a 34 hour restart. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the mileage pay minus your road expenses. Your advances just to eat plus any tolls or other expenses due that are to be reimbursed to the driver at a later date on payroll. Plus any federal and state taxes withheld from you pay. FFE pays .29cpm for 6 months experience. Average miles per week 1800=$522.00 a week. 6 months to a year 30cpm=$540.00 now take out your living expense of $160 per week plus your federal and state taxes what you have left??

Hmmm lets see after my preplan delivers on thursday for the week I will have had 3324miles thats 3324x.29=963.96×52=50, 125 yearly gross .Now I know freight doesnt run 24/7/364 with this many miles all the time matter of fact freight can and does slow dramatically in the wintertime. However it just goes to show that it is possible to make 50 grand a yr with Ffe. In my book thats good money not just for a company that pays for Cdl schooling but from all the current drivers who respect and enjoy working for Ffe.
