Congrats man, I remember your earlier thread where u wanted to go out on your own and everybody and their mother told you how bad of a idea it was. I'm so glad to see you took the jump brother, I wish you all the success In the world!

Thanks! You were one of the few that offered encouragement. I decided to go all out and just get my own authority. Insurance is a steep but I’m going for it. I’m in Fort Worth so flatbed kind of makes sense. I kept saying I would pull a flatbed if I as 10 years younger but this has made me get serious about getting into shape.

So happy for you. My husband and I made the jump 2 yrs 2 1/2 yrs ago and it’s actually the best business decision we’ve ever done. We make a lot more money and could not be happier. Having your own authority is where it’s at. Best of luck on your new adventure. You be glad you made the move.

Man that's got to be, albeit financially scary, a great feeling of accomplishment, kudos to you.

May your loads be plentiful and your miles safe!

Congrats! Hope you get plenty of trouble free miles from her. I picked up a similar unit back at the end of Jan. Old TMC truck with 618k. Its a 2016 w/ ISX 450ST, 13sp, disc brakes and double bunk. Still have my older pre-eld international that id never get rid of but wanted something newer and slight more comfortable to run full time. Good luck!
