This trip has been gorgeous. Man what a drive. Currently in the River basin going toward Spokane. Got a real light load 5k lbs to Denver 1350 miles $1800 TQL
They wouldn't pay more but they did allow me to grab another partial if I wanted but there was nothing going on my way. I'll offload Wednesday. Try to get to KC then Memphis for Friday. -
So, how did you manage the Everett to Kent thing?

I drove last night and just slept in the customer's dock lol
It worked.

I didn't get any kind of high altitude sickness, ears hardly popped.
What a trip, though.
So from Denver I got a load to Hattiesburg, MS, 25,000 lbs of tile for $1900.
I'm actually ending up right now about 20 miles from where I grabbed the load going to Seattle.
$3700 total on the backhaul. So all in all, $11,150 to Seattle and back on 5600 loaded miles, all at $2/mi and 75% of that being light loads. I averaged 7.1 mpg.
With the load on Monday last week I did before Seattle, and with this load I'm picking up now in South AL going back home for $2,250 on 1,000 miles ☹️, I'll have grossed $5950 this week, and
I'll have grossed $15,050 on 7,525 miles loaded and empty in 2 weeks, average $2/mi. So it's not bad, it's decent revenue, but a lot of miles. If I wanted to gross that on 6,000 miles, it would have to be all $2.50/mi average stuff, plus deadhead. Not easy to do. Maybe guys like @rollin coal can do that, who have more experience at knowing how far to push and when, but I'm learning that.
But still, with all those miles being light loads, I'll have netted $7,250 in the two weeks, which breaks my record 2 weeks running. Previous record net for a week is $2,900, so I beat that twice in a row by a good amount. Gonna go home and relax, deliver this Monday morning, enjoy the 4th, then head back out Wednesday if there's anything worth while. Not sure what it will be like Wednesday. Seems like today, not much is in a hurry to ship.
I don't plan on going back to WA anytime soon. If something did happen to pop up, I'd be willing to go as far as Spokane, not Seattle, and it would have to be light and would have to pay $3/mi.
My goal has been to gross $150,000 for the remainder of the year, starting Wednesday June 14th the day after my bday, when I came back out last. I'm $19,350 closer to that goal now.mladen86, Liquidforce, Lepton1 and 3 others Thank this.
