There is no "Team" company as such.

What WILL likely happen is if you and wife show up and say you are a TEAM set for a big truck to a company, they are going to salviate and throw a bunch of money at you both.

Once the honeymoon wears off and you are horsewhipped across the USA saving single drivers by trying to get their late loads in then you will both understand what Team means.

I hate to be the rain here in the sunshine of possibilities, We have been there done that.

Wow, that sucks. Hopefully the person in the bunk didn't suffer any major injuries.

I team drive for Schneider. They treated us well so far. We drive close 5900 miles each week and home every week because we are in a dedicated account which we started on April.

When I started teaming with Schneider, we got on the Fed ex account and averaged 5600 miles each week and home every week . After we didn't have a dedicated account we averaged around 5000-5500 miles, sometimes close to 4800 but mostly over 5000 and home every 2-3 weeks.

Most companies are cutting the speed back. Tyson Foods cut back not too long ago from 70 to 62. Abilene Motor Express is still 68 mph.
Pulling reefers I had a 68 mph condo truck, then it went in the shop and had to drive a flat top 62 mph truck. First run was from Tennessee to California. 62 mph all the way there. When my truck was fixed the terminal manager was surprised when I kept the old 62 mph truck. That truck was so comfortable and smooth riding even on the roughest roads and the interior was plush and quiet. Anyway, I traded speed for comfort. Guess I'm a wuss!

I was surprised how much better i felt at the end of the day.. not so stressed out and beat up by the road..
