Here I am again and curious about where to install a fire extinguisher. The only place I can think of to have it readily available in right in the middle flooring. But, when I looked under the truck all I saw was a heat shield so I don't know what is between that and the floor. Any suggestions? Where is yours located? Thanks in advance.

It doesn't need to be that readily available....

might put a few more straps to hold it in place so it is not a missile headed for your head during a wreck.

    Ah, I see!

Lol, I can see how that could become an issue and it has been noted. Perhaps I can do it in the back cab somewhere.

On my mechanic's truck I have the bracket bolted onto the rear bumper of the service body. On a lot of pickup trucks they seem to mount them right in the pickup box. Out of sight and out of the cab (trust me it makes a HUGE mess if the pin falls out and it goes off inside the cab).

My brother left a can of bear spray in his camper, sitting in the sun. These little spray things hold a ton of product and it took him a few days to be able to get into that camper to clean it up. All these safety things will kill us.

I figured going with this big of one I can take care of whatever I need in case something does happen. I was also thinking of putting it like yours but right there under the back seat. Not in the cubbies under the seat (btw wtf kind of stupid ### design is that!?) but up against the wall of it line how yours is in the front.
