It should be the 1st thing listed on the dvir book. Most cops will agree as most of them are gun fanatics.

I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

its nice to know you have the gun, if you need it, when your parked for the night in a shady place.
CondoCruiser and Jackofalltrades1977 Thank this. -
I'd like to carry a gun cause cops are just too #### heavy....the problem is the company won't allow it...along with about 90% of our customers...grrrrrr

Without reading through all of the posts i will just tell you what i found out,may help. I live in VA and have been told by the State Police out of Richmond that you can carry a firearm in a commercial vehicle with out a CC permit,as long as the gun is in view of an officer then there are no problems. If you have a CC permit then you can carry outside in the state the permit was issued in but you have to check with the states that you will be going to or through because some will honor that permit.Others wont.
Of course most companies dont want you to carry a firearms period because they are afraid that one day you may start shooting dispatchers!keepntruckin Thanks this. -
I wouldn't bet on that. There is lots of bad information out there.
