Well first off I left sunday night about 6:30 pm, #### that was one of the hardest things I could ever do. Seeing my wife and kids cry that broke my heart into a million pieces but we all know this is for the best. We said are good byes and then I headed down that long dark road.......80 miles later I pull into student housing. I get my keys and head up to my room, Im so nervous I have a roomate and I have millions of thoughts in my head. I open the door and meet my new roomate Dale from Ashtabula to. Very nice guy we are getting along well, Thats a big relief.Ok so this room is small, We have our own refrigerator and bathroom and there are two twin beds and one dresser and two desks. The beds are very hard but oh well it could have been worse.I tried to sleep that night but the bed and the nerves got the best of me. 4 hours of sleep #### and its allready 6 am. Im up and ready to go in 15 minutes. The main campus is only about 4 miles away. I pull in the drive way and see all the semi trucks parked everywhere and begin to realize this is really happening. I got to my room and meet my instructor Frank and 10 other students.Frank begins going over stuff and then we meet the job placement coordinator, student services, the guy who is charge of the dot physical and drug screen. Frank tells us that tommorow we will be taking the dot physical and drug screen and that we will be reviewing sections 1,2 and 3 in the drivers manual. The rest of the day he goes over some stuff and we take a mini test. All and all Im very happy I choose tdds the staff and instructors are very friendly, professional and courtoues. Well its time for me to hit the hay and try to get some sleep. I will update tommorow and let everyone know how day 2 is.

Blazer, thanks for starting up a current post for TDDS. How have things been for you? I will also be attending their program next month and after I toured the facility a few months ago, I agree their staff is top notch!
