The parents should be charged right along or instead of the kid in this case.

I thought maybe it was some sort of gag story - or hoping it was. How do kids that age realize what it even IS to rob someone?? ACK!

Parents that don't teach their kids wrong from right, but let them watch anything they want on TV. I can let mine watch just about anything and not worry about them getting stupid ideas because they know right from wrong, know about rules and laws, and know about consequences.

Back when I was in elementary school, some of my classmates were dealing drugs...they even had beepers. This was in the mid to late '90s...

Times have changed since I was in first grade in the 60's.

Robbery from classmates did not happen until middle school years. 6,7,8th grades. Then they were rare.

    I agree with Lilbit.
Television and parental influence have diminished over the years.

My neighbors have small children. And these parents don't think anything about buying them VIOLENT Video games. I think they have every system that can be bought.

The kids were being mean to their dog this summer and I called the parents on the phone and told them. They never supervise their kids at all!

I over heard the MOM tell her kids.."Don't be mean to the dog, you weren't brought up that way":biggrin_2552:
