    bypass. I use drivewyze and I get to bypass 95% of weigh stations. I think there is a one month free trial if you want to try it

    I used one a couple of years ago & It used to screw up on me regularly. I used to have to unplug it & plug it back in to reset it. Not that I am telling you to do that cause you're going to have to tell that DOT officer something about why you unplugged it. Now, you could tell him the truth but...... who's gonna believe that? It'll probably get you a ticket & shut down for 34.
    Put that Garmin in the glove box & get a good ELD that will work. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

    In the mean time, keep paper logs.

    Yeah it’s frustrating, I got the paper logs going. What can you recommend I use for ELD?

    I've been using keeptruckin for the last 5 months. No issues at all. Even upgraded the service to track IFTA miles and I'm happy so far.

    How much is it?

    The appeal of the Garmin unit was no monthly fee but that’s not worth #### if the unit doesn’t work!

    It is like $225 per year. I am thinking. Don’t quote me not very much. My only complaint is when I had to call I had trouble understanding the technical support.

    I got the KeepTruckin ELD on its way.

    First week gross $4550 not too shabby.

    I’m struggling to find a load back home and I miss my fam :/
