Heard a lot of bad things about C1 which was why I crossed USA and PAM off my list. I went to the Swift Academy in San Antonio but they recently moved the school to Corsicana. Excellent school and instructors and the cost was $3900 ($2900 for veterans). The tuition loan is paid through weekly $37.50 (net) deductions. If you leave Swift you can continue making weekly payments; they do not accelerate the loan. I got everything I was promised and I'm really happy with Swift. If you want to talk to a Swift recruiter who is straight up honest send me a PM for the name and number.

Guess who just posted on craigslist for a "truck driving instructor" in Fort Worth.
They pay a whole $13 an hour, and you need three years of verifible driving... wow.
They prefer driver training or on the road trainer experience....
craigslist.org...then select Texas, DFW area, and look under transport
If possible, get all your permits first, and ask as many questions as you can drag out of the instructors.
From reading here, drivers are responsible for all the rules, whether you know them or not.
Good luck!

I took a composite bonding class ( no jobs right now, Bell and Lockheed aren't hiring unless you're an engineer)
Drove right past the C1 Ft W school practice driving area every morning around 6:30.
On Mondays there were lots of peeps, by Friday... not so many.....
Looks like an old park with lots of trees, and a muddy lot.
