Any older women out there who drive flatbeds? Do you have any difficulties with the 105 lb tarps?

    Thanks,

I've always had a thing for ladies who ride motorcycles, and ladies who strap on a sidearm. A lady flatbedder? Yeah, I think that would be pretty hawt too. : )

You can do it.......You've seen "little miss dynamites" as fire personnel, right ? Most times, when handeling tarps, you get help from a forklift driver to get them on top of the loads. Or even from the ground onto the trailer. One thing about FB drivers.....they help each other. I used to "walk" my rolled up tarps up the step ladder from the ground to the trailer.

Well, I'm female, 49, 5'10" and weight around 148 lbs soaking wet; although I don't do FB just because I don't like to tarp loads- I usually haul equipment on a 48 ft RGN trailer which does require a lot of physical work securing the load.
Is Flatbed just for guys? I don't think there is anything in trucking any more that a woman can't do; except for peeing between the back of the cab and the drives on the side of the road- that part of trucking is all yours guys!!!!
