One year recent, but 10 total? We could hire you at Melton, pending verification, background, etc.

Depends on what kind of challenge you want. Are you in great physical shape or want to get in better shape? Flatbed offers some physical workouts, tarping, chaining, climbing up on loads in all kinds of weather, etc. Tanker is another monster completely depending on what type you want to haul. Food grade, chemical, etc. Hazmat is a consideration and pays more (usually). Liquid tankers require a bit more finesse because of surge. As a rule, less waiting time than with flatbed and tanker compared to dry van.

well said 900,000 I personally love the flatbed side,it can lead to doing oversize as well and that part of it pays good.

Have been leaning hard on flatbed. My experience is what is hurting me now I think. I have over 3 years if you go back 12 years but only 7 months in the past 3 years. I have been prehired with maverick but am scared I won't pass the physical. I am on blood pressure meds and have high triglycerides my doc says. I can't afford to quit my job then go to Maverick just to have their doc tell me I can't work for them. I have talked to boyd too but maverick seems to pay better.

I will talk to maverick again. If you had to chose a company between maverick or boyd, which would you suggest and why?

as I never have drove for either, drivers that I have talked to dont really say anything bad about either one, but I think I see more Maverick trucks. so I guess if was me that would be a plus sign they look busy. And I dont think their trucks look as cluttered as some of the Boyd trucks i've seen.
