Flying J in Lebec/Frazier Mountain, California

I just looked at some before/after pics on Google. It now has the same general appearance as any newer PFJ. Good examples for me would be the one in Vega TX, or the one in my town of Clovis NM. Both built around 2017/18.

 

the old Flying J used to have a buffet and 50s celebrities pictures everywhere...the new one has a dunkin express which is cool...but half the time the chilled creamer is down

 

LOOOL, but you could navigate those hallways to the restroom with he 50s Hollywood Golden Era pictures on the wall and to the old buffet ....this new layout is weird and I miss the old one

 

Man I miss the old place. Spent many nights and sometimes a weekend there. It’s always been a J as long as I can remember.

My only gripe was the angle of the parking lot. If you didn’t park in the right spot, you’d regret it. Lol.

Now it’s just another cookie cutter place. Kinda sad really.
