7 truck carrier out of Dayton OH. Probably already closed up shop and started up a new company by now.
Edit: maybe not. They actually have an office and a yard for the trucks. They could possibly be legit. If so, still on them for turning that driver loose in a truck.TheLoadOut, D.Tibbitt, mjd4277 and 4 others Thank this. -
Since the guilty party has sketchy/non-existent English proficiency -- I remain skeptical that said GPS had the proper vehicle dimensions input into the available, relevant prompts -- & thus, any GPS solution generated would very likely not be suitable for full-sized big rigs (even if the GPS in question is designed/built for large trucks).
Cereal-box CDLs don't teach that kinda stuff....

Looks like the only way to get that out of there is to bring in a 2 Axle Tractor or a Hostler. $4000 seems high since all they did was straighten him out. I could see $4000 if they got him turned around. The guy is still in the same predicament. Now what does he do?
broke down plumber Thanks this. -

Why anybody with any ounce of common sense would end up in hollywood hills with a semi truck is beyond me.

Cop-"you can stay here tonight til there are less cars on the streets in the morning"...yeah like everyone in Beverly Hills is getting up and going to work in the morning.
Also the owner on the phone with the tow guy, "don't damage the trailer when you move it"...yeah ok buddy, apparently you don't understand the severity of what happened here.Last edited: Jul 8, 2026
