So much THIS. If Immodium doesn't stop it, nothing will. Do not take more than directed, because it will completely stop you up for days. There are also generic versions that work just as well. I use Rite-Aid Anti-Diarrheal caplets. Same ingredient. Loperamide HCI.

Yeah. Trying to pass concrete blocks for a few days after it. But ( pun unintentional ) it's worth it.

No kidding. So dry, you don't even need toilet paper.

Good luck to you. My doctor advised to mix the Gatorade 50/50 with water. Gatorade has the electrolytes for an Olympic athlete, and normal people need about half as much. The water is just as important as the other ingredients.
Thank Gawd the only time I ever had food poisoning I had a local job and just stayed at home for 3-5 days. I've had pneumonia that was less awful than food poisoning, at least I could sleep. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, if I weren't Scottish. Food poisoning is just the first inning of what I wish on my worst enemies.

    Pedialyte is also good.

Some info on food borne illnesses from the FDA.
