They just called me on the phone, but the call dropped when I answered or maybe it was an accidental dial on there end.
All I ever hear is how easy my routes are mostly from the people who sub for me, except every time I go away they have to double them up.
With the exception of my Tuesday they almost always double my routes when I’m gone. I recent time I’ve never seen them send a recently hired new swing driver out to cover one of my runs solo.
Us to a lot of the guys that are hired just are used as lumpers and there always back by noon and then when there set off on there own and get back at 3:00pm-4:00pm there in panic mode.
I’m always like what’s the big deal I’m usually depending on the day back in mid afternoon almost everyday. Not many days I’m back by noon.
Plus okay I’m sorry I’m in the top 5 for most cases delivered in my branch. So naturally I have longer days.
The guys who are back at noon and earlier everyday are usually not at the top of the production heap.
Well, the question is are you here to work and maximize as much income as you cAn or are you here to go home? Which is why it’s so silly to obsess about who gets done quickest and who has the easy day.
Night shuttle also has some of the same issues.
Food service Buffalo NY, any information on them?

Thats very true, people like that are the first to complain about money and trash the company cause their not getting paid enough. But hey it's their own doing that financially handicaps them. Everyone wants to make money but no one wants to put forth the effort. I start at 4am and I do more of a regional food service job l, lots of driving. But it's always 14 hours days. Everyone is starting to lose perseverance. And that's annoying new hires get in that mindset wanting to be back at noon. Laugh and tell them you remember your first part time job. Ha -
Kind of late to the thread here but as a Sysco driver for a long time, I would go with US Foods. Seems a little more better run and driver friendly. It's all the same job like Mike said but who you do it for can make a big difference
Mike2633 and Buffalonytrucker92 Thank this. -
You will be micromanaged and worked to death at Sysco, US Foods seems to take care of the drivers a little better.
Mike2633, Buffalonytrucker92 and bobby87 Thank this. -
Thanks everyone I appreciate it. Just I know they basically do the same thing. But it makes sense to obviously go for the better treatment
Mike2633 Thanks this.
