There is no such thing as a stupid post. Unless it goes something like “hey, I have three felonies for interstate commerce fraud, who will hire me?” Or the ole “been off marijuana for a few days and thinking about trucking as a career, who does hair follicle tests?”

No way are you going to strike alone--I volunteer to join you in your protest against your evil corporate oppressor! Especially if you're buying the beer! Solidarity, brother!! :D

Lol, I had a guy tell me once that he was an o/o. We were at a receiver, we walk outside and there's his shiny brown volvo with "leased to KLLM". I smiled and wished him luck. Oh yeah, he had to call and get approval for a Comcheck.

I’m ok with outward facing camera, I have one on my own to cover my butt.. I would tell them to stick it if it was a driver facing one tho.. I went through that whole ordeal when the cams first come out and will never run a driver facing cam again..

    blah blah blah.

You don't get hired when you are an Owner Operator, you are leased to the company.

You have some autonomy and it should be discussed before hand when you get a copy of the contract to review.

I am in discussion with one carrier I have trucks leased to about their up and coming forward looking cameras, I have no issues with them but I am providing insurance and not using theirs so to me it is something that they can't tell me what I can put into my truck because it doesn't effect them what so ever.

My repressed situation only allows me to afford Old Milwaukee Light. But I can get a lot of it. I have toilet, sink and refrigerator in shop. I can holdout longer than she thinks.
