Saw about the same thing in Galveston one time. Fortunately, I had a place to turn around

Was waiting for the transport ferry back to the mainland. It's a weird feeling backing 60 tons on to a moving platform

Well read everyone's replies. Got me ####less now whether signing the dotted line with SNI is a good idea. I have to do their refresher and commit to 90 days or pay back 1200 bucks. I've got a choice of doing Target dedicated (drop/hook) or LTL (Watkins Shepard touch freight). I really don't feel like taking a plane all the way to Phoenix, probably with connecting flights too and then doing their three weeks training sharing a hotel room with a complete stranger. I sometimes think maybe I should just take a job cleaning hotel rooms at this point. Least I can go home at night.

If cleaning hotel rooms sounds like a promising option, I'd hop right on it. Think of all the free beer you get. I left 3 in my room this morning.

Well, I’ve got three apps submitted to return to the road. Schneider Choice is one; the other two are company positions. My scope of the search is pretty narrow as I want to get west occasionally to see my folks. So now we wait....

Yeah trucking can be an interesting career if you want it to be. I look at it this way ..It's like the never ending camping trip!
So if you like camping you are good! It's not for everyone.

    Rocknroller4 Thanks this.

Sounds good! Best of luck 48!
I've been approved for the company I applied too. Dedicated pharmaceuticals account mostly running up and down out here in the west. Can go east if I choose to. New equipment, APU's, inverters, refrigerators.. Now just need to finalize my current employment and head on out on the road again!

    SingingWolf and 48Packard Thank this.
