I can this..if your interested in hauling chemicals and be down in the houston area or Louisiana, you should be able to make pretty decent $$ and such..I've done chemical tanks out of houston before...

Well I have a question. Swift have me scheduled and all I need to do is a road test before they hire me on. Then I go with a mentor for the 3-4 weeks. SNI on the other hand want me to do their 3 day refresher, sign a 1200 dollar contract and then go through their 3 week orientation. Any ideas which one I should go with? Keep in mind I haven't driven since 2015 so not sure if I will be a little rusty on the 10-speed at Swift.

3-4 weeks with a trainer will knock that off.

if it were my decision, I'd still go with sni, even with the contract.

now above when I said switch after 6 months , I meant switch positions within SNI.

so the first question still stasnds about your goals. Which company do you see meeting your short term goals at the least?
have you gotten feedback from swift guys?
    whats your gut telling you?

Well it's easier to go with Swift because orientation is only 50 miles away compared to SNI who want me to fly to Phoenix. I guess my gut is telling me to go Swift and I guess if I fail the road test (since it's been ages since I've driven 10-speed) I could call SNI up and go with them. From what I gather, everyone here says they are all the same the megas. Sure I won't be working at either of them till retirement. I dunno. Both companies have 50/50 from everyone. Some like Swift. Some like SNI. Schneider have of course been way more professional on the phone than Swift.
