    Hah. Do as we say, not as we do. Wow...

    Was initially going to say wait for the first injury or death to happen then watch a court award an enormous settlement. Then it says they "should be exempt" from the green book regulations.

    Not too surprising.. Some of the trash trucks I see.
    But City Trucks.
    And I was not aware they were exempt from the Rules. What a joke.

    As an intrastate operation, the federal regulations don't apply...even to NON-government owned fleets. What sort of state regulations exist? Do those also exempt government-owned fleets? Either way, that's a matter for the state to address since the feds only have jurisdiction over interstate operations, not intrastate.
